Pat Shea, President
Pat has more than 20 years of real estate sales and leadership experience in the Greater Sacramento Area. As president and COO of Lyon Real Estate, Pat’s strong leadership skills turn long-term goals into solid action plans and ensure that the entire leadership team remains focused on results. During his first few years at Lyon, gross revenue increased 41 percent, closed transaction sides 13 percent and agent population 10 percent. He earned the "Outstanding Life Member" designation from the Sacramento Association of Realtors Masters Club while practicing as an agent. Pat consistently earned numerous sales production awards in multiple organizations over this same time frame. He previously enjoyed significant growth and production results through his work as Managing Director & President of Mason-McDuffie, one of the largest brokerages in California at that time. Pat currently serves on a number of industry and non-profit boards, and was named one of the most powerful people in residential real estate in 2015 and 2016 in the Swanepoel Power 200. In 2016, Pat was chosen to receive the coveted Leadership Award, presented by Leading Real Estate Companies of the World®, a global network of more than 550 companies in 50 countries. He holds a B.S.B.A. from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Michael Levedahl, Chief Financial Officer
Michael is a licensed California CPA with over 30 years of financial and operations experience in the real estate industry. Prior to joining Lyon Real Estate, Michael served as Chief Financial Officer for one of the largest privately-owned residential brokerages in the nation with over 2,000 sales agents in California, Nevada and Texas. Michael has also held the positions of Chief Operating Officer for a national residential and commercial property inspection company, and Divisional Vice President of Operations for a major international real estate franchising company. Michael is a graduate of the University of California, Haas School of Business.
David Wilson, Chief Technology Officer
Dave is a senior technology executive with over 25 years of technical and operations experience. He has held senior technology positions within the automotive, technology, staffing and the real estate sectors and has consistently made quantifiable process improvements, built software and led successful service-oriented teams in complex environments. Dave consistently offers a strong blend of hands-on skills, an analytic approach to strategic planning and demonstrated strengths in customer relationship building and service. He has championed many technology projects and has transformed Technology divisions within three companies into valuable business partners through strong team-building and staff development. Dave has demonstrated the ability to work as a consultative member of any senior management team, effectively communicating complex technology subjects to gain support for their implementation. In this manner, Dave has transformed the IT function into a key contributor to organizational success through periods of stability as well as change in business direction.
Herb Cross, Director of Property Management
Herb is a seasoned real estate associate, who during his 25-year career with Lyon Real Estate, has served in leadership positions as the Office Manager of West Sacramento, Woodland, Davis, and Dixon offices. In 2013, Herb was appointed Director of the Property Management Division of Lyon Real Estate. He now supervises the individual property managers in all Lyon offices and establishes the policies and procedures for the property management division. Herb holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science and a teaching credential from UC Davis. He served as President of the Yolo County Association of Realtors in 1986 and was named Realtor of the Year for Yolo County in 1982. Herb's involvement in the real estate industry includes serving as a Director for the California Association of Realtors from 1982-1993, liaison to the state legislature for CAR, and chair for the Davis division of the Yolo County Association of Realtors. Herb is currently a member of the Governmental Affairs Committee for the Rental Housing Association.
Cathy Harrington, Director of Marketing
Cathy is a senior marketing executive with over 20 years of diversified real estate marketing and public relations experience. She has held several positions within the industry, including residential real estate services, commercial leasing, investment real estate brokerage, and online real estate. She got her start working in public relations. As part of Lyon Real Estate’s leadership team, she guides the company’s corporate marketing strategy, which encompasses brand management, online media, collateral development, emerging technology initiatives, philanthropy, event management and public relations. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from U.C. Berkeley.
Jim Waters, Vice President
Jim Waters joined Lyon Real Estate in 1990 as a top producing agent and in 1992 became a part of the management team. He was responsible for opening the Elk Grove and Folsom Offices. He actively manages the Sierra Oaks office where he enjoys training, coaching and developing agents. He is a certified Buffini Trainer and a Life Member of the Sacramento Association of REALTORS® Masters Club. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from California State University, Long Beach and has an honorable discharge from the Air Force.
Sara Baty, Controller
Sara joined Lyon Real Estate as a Staff Accountant in 2002 and has steadily worked her way up to Controller. Sara has over 15 years of accounting experience and manages the day-to-day operations of Lyon’s accounting department including commission processing, accounts payable and receivables, general ledger functions, monthly financial statement preparation and annual budget production. Sara is a hands-on leader, focused on promoting teamwork to provide excellent customer service to co-workers, clients and agents. Sara is a Sacramento native and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting with a minor in Criminal Justice from California State University, Sacramento.
Heidi Nigel, Director of Office Support Services
Heidi works with the managers and office support staff to ensure that all components of the company’s value proposition are being delivered effectively, consistently and passionately to our agents every day. Employing her business development skills and transaction management experience, she works with office managers to maximize agent utilization of our professional transaction management services across the company. She also supervises, trains, and evaluates 17 transaction coordinators. Heidi began her career in residential real estate as a practicing real estate agent before transitioning into transaction management with a top independent company. Heidi holds a bachelor degree from Saint Mary's College.
